A poem - Outloud When the bird are talking What are they saying When the moment passes Was it important Should we have said something Let us bring our meaning to the moment And the slow rhythm of the lapping water The fishing boat once busy Now inactive in the tidal wasteland But our meaning is not spelt out in words But in letting the moment pass by
